Katy Buess was very keen to be part of this year’s exhibition. We’ve tried to meet up a couple of times but it just didn’t work out so Katy gave me a call one night just before she left New Zealand.  She had run out of time to send me her bio and photos but was quite happy for me to direct you to her website here.

Rob and Katy have gone to Timor-Leste for six months with Volunteer Service Abroad. Rob has a 6 month assignment as furniture design advisor at the Tibar Bamboo Centre and Katy is hoping to volunteer at Arte Moris – Cultural Centre and free art school for youth in Dili.

Katy won’t be back in time for the exhibition but I’m looking forward to the arrival of her work from Timor. Katy has chosen to work with Dale Ritterbusch’s poem Green Tea.
