a spitfire spewing words into the afternoon

When Fiona Farrell rang to say she had to pull out of the Four Poets reading I approached David Eggleton and I’m extremely pleased to announce he’s agreed to join the Four Poets line up. I once described David’s reading style as gasping for breath, hand rifling through hair, galloping over, under and through words. And I also mentioned he was like a spitfire spewing words ferociously fast into the night.

September 15, Bellamys Gallery, Macandrew Bay, Dunedin, 1.30 -3pm.

This is going to be one terrific afternoon with David, Emma Neale, Kay McKenzie Cooke and Brian Turner all sharing their poems with us. Seats are limited so reserve your place now by emailing waitingroompoems@gmail.com.
